Founded in 1977 by Michael Gerber, E-Myth Worldwide has been undergoing an evolution since 2004 when Gerber appointed William (Bill) Schlegel to be the new Chief Executive Officer, while Gerber retained his ties to the company as Chairman of the Board.
When Schlegel came on board, he brought with him an ambitious vision — to step up the company's commitment to business owners worldwide and to turn E-Myth into THE leading global provider of results-based business education programs and tools. And his vision is becoming a reality.
To date, Schlegel has scaled the philosophy and methodology developed by Michael Gerber by streamlining the company's operations, recruiting key members to the Executive Team, and expanding on E-Myth's existing offerings. He has worked hard to globalize the company's product line, enlarge the customer target base, and position E-Myth as the most trusted and comprehensive resource provider for entrepreneurs.
E-Myth Goes Global
After soliciting feedback from a wide variety of current and former clients, Schlegel and his team went to work, and have developed and launched new technology-based offerings designed to bring the E-Myth philosophy to business owners around the world, while addressing a variety of institutional and individual learning styles and investment levels.
This innovative new generation of online business education products and services includes the introductory E-Myth Essentials course, the comprehensive Embark E-Learning courses (based on the Seven Centers of Management Attention model), and this award-winning Web-based Embark Community Connection blog, all of which are available 24/7. The online curriculum allows the E-Myth content to be available to a wider variety of business owners — regardless of geography, maturity, or industry — and to comfortably fit into entrepreneurs' busy modern lives.
E-Myth Coaching Clients See 850% Return on Investment
Schlegel also oversaw the strengthening of the company's flagship business coaching program, and the results speak for themselves.
A new survey shows that the entrepreneurs who typify E-Myth Mastery coaching clients own businesses that generate an average of $2.6 million in annual revenue, employ 22 people, and have been in business for more than 10 years. Based on these survey results, the average client experienced an 850% annual return on investment in the program for fiscal year 2005, measured by net after tax profit improvement.
E-Myth Goes On the Road
In addition, E-Myth has inaugurated three new one-day Leadership Development Series Seminars which are held "on the road" in communities across the U.S. These new seminars blend the optimal combination of instructor-based learning with business community networking to help business owners, managers, operators, independent agencies, franchisees, and other entrepreneurs to thrive and achieve sustainable growth. It is also our intention to ultimately have live E-Myth seminars available internationally as well.
Strengthening Our Commitment
"E-Myth's proven business education solutions can successfully guide any type of business leader's entrepreneurial work," says Schlegel. "Ultimately, these people will gain a new sense of control, as well as a higher level of happiness and achievement — in their businesses and their lives. And we won't stop there. We are committed to reaching out to established entrepreneurs — and would-be entrepreneurs — to help them meet their business goals and ambitions, and to realize their personal dreams."
