Need advice on business idea

Hello, I'm having doubt about a business idea. I have heard of people saying that you should always follow your passion and what you are truly good at. Well, I have been told that I'm very good with poems (I write them in spanish). And I was thinking of starting an online greeting card business with my verses. People really like my verses and they say I have a talent for it. My question is (to those who have read e-myth revisited or taking e-myth courses) How would you systematize a business like that? I mean, you can not systematize inspiration. How can you teach someone to write love verses? This is where I find systems hard to implement. I truly agree with the idea of "Working on your business, not in it". I was thinking of initially having a set of greeting cards, and start selling them, and then hire people with talent like mines. I think that my problem is that I want to be more of the entrepreneur than a poet. I want to run a business that expresses my primary aim, but yet the only way to do that would be for me to do the actual poems(i.e working in my business). Thank you.

Also remember that, besides just writting the verses themselves, they will be pleny to other task that the business will need to be working on such as marketing, working with company that could distribute your cards, sales, etc. These are all areas that you can also create systems for and have other staff manage for you.

Hi think about Hallmark. Do you think that Hallmark has one person writing all of their cards?

What you need to do is think about the theme of what your poems will be about. The direction that you want to take, what kind of poems. Then think of what context you want people to read them. I would think in terms of branding ....The look of the card , color , paper etc...

Then its a questions of finding the right writers that can translate what you want to say. You can still think up the direction the poems will take, make a list short point form, maybe just titles to draw from. Maybe a one line sentence , anything that can inspire a write to complete it of coarse under your direction. You would in effect become the chief editor of your stable of writers, all of which would be following your direction for content and expression. You win two fold , writers have a creative output and you can get alot more cards made up than you could do alone

When I work on a concept I work with a variety of other designers , prototype makers and artists. Sometimes I have a very tight concept for everyone to follow ,at other times I have a general direction and let the design evolve,and then sometimes I have to retake the reins.
